The route (2410 km, 1500 miles) –
- Salisbury to Glencoe over four days, via Cheltenham, Leeds and Berwick upon Tweed
- Based in Glencoe, day trips to Skye and Inverness
- Return to Salisbury over two days, via Wetherby
Unplanned stop in Berwick to get ahead of the weather. Loved walking around my old home town :
Was really looking forward to taking this photo and the lighting was perfect. Buachaille Etive Mor is one of my favourite mountains, and one of my proudest climbs having done it in Winter.
Never get bored of this view down Glen Coe:
A day rained in, so spent in the afternoon in the Claghaig Inn after wearing out Robbie and Bow:
A quick look at the weather forecast suggested that a trip out to Skye would be the best plan for the day. Fantastic ride out and back in bright sunshine.
After another fantastic ride, up to Inverness, pilot Tom takes us for a flight down Loch Ness:
Saying goodbye (for now) to ‘the Glen’.
Home sweet home, bike and me needing a good clean:
